The Salyut Hotel is located on the territory of Troparevo district - one of the ecologically cleanest and greenest districts of Moscow city. The geographical name of Troparevo belonged to the former village which became a part of Moscow city in 1960. At the end of 60 and 70 the main part of the Troparevo district was widened and longed to the point where the Vernadsky Avenue meets the Leninsky Avenue. The Salyut Hotel was erected at that site at the end of 70. That site was known as a place where an inn situated 100 years ago. The Salyut Hotel is located about 200 metres from the Moscow Ring Road and it allows to reach the airports of Sheremetievo or Domodedovo within 30-40 minutes drive. The underground station Jugo-Zapadnaya and two main Avenues of Moscow (Leninsky and Vernadskogo) are located nearby as well. There are 1,200 rooms and suites in the hotel. All the rooms have a bathroom, long-distance telephones, TV, friges. Peaceful and quiet, the comfortable furniture, the cosy halls are conducive to a good rest. The hotel has bars, restaurants and even casino.
